A few more beautiful recreations

1. Hi!
I am making this amazin afghan just now, it is so fun to crochet! But, I have run in to some trouble with Third section Rnd 8 and hoped that you might be able to help me. (I'm sorry for my not so good english, I'm from Sweden..)

I have 30 sts on the part on the row below that is suposed to turn to 34 sts on this row. I can't fit in more than 33 sts of the 34.. Am I reading the pattern wrong or is it something wrong in the pattern?
Thankful for help.
I have looked at avaliable errata and it has no help for me.

My pattern sais this for row 8:

Join black in first st of any black 5-dc group, ch 3, dc in each of next 4 sts, [changing to gemstone, dc in each of next 6 sts, inc, dc in each of next 3 sts, working across rnd 6, working over sl sts, dc in next st, changing to black, dc in each of next 5 sts, changing to gemstone, dc in each of next 2 sts, working across Valley fill-in, dc in next st, inc, dc in each of next 3 sts, inc, dc in each of next 2 sts*, changing to black, dc in each of next 5 sts] 16 times, ending last rep at *, changing to black, join in top of beg ch-3. (34 sts in each rep - 544 sts total)

Thank you!
/Elin

1. Elin, I think you've caught a mistake in the printed pattern!
There are supposed to be two increases in each gemstone section. I spaced them evenly, so once you see the pattern of where to increase in each gemstone section, it should be the same throughout.
" changing to gemstone, dc in each of next 3 sts, inc, dc in each of next 3 sts, inc, dc in each of next 2 sts*, changing to black, dc in each of next 5 sts] 16 times"
So, it's a pattern of 3 dc, increase, 3 dc, increase, 2 dc for each gemstone section, then switch to black and dc 5.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

2. Hi just downloaded this pattern from Annie's. Do you have a yarn color list for the one with the bright and medium blue on the points?

1. I wish I did!! I'd *love* to make one just like that for myself.
